Presentation
The Spanish Exporters and Investors Club, founded in 1997, is a multisectorial, non-profit and independent association formed by a group of companies with a long tradition in international markets, moved by the need to rely on a specific organisation that allows its members in a flexible, dynamic and managerial way to face the challenges arisen in the international markets.

Currently, and according to its multisectorial vocation, more than one hundred companies are represented in the Spanish Exporters and Investors Club. They comprise almost the whole of the productive sectors and range from small and medium to big sized companies, totalling a turnover that represents 20% of Spain’s GDP, 40% of which stems from sales in international markets. They have 350.000 employees and their foreign investment expenditure figure represents around 50% of Spain’s total foreign investment.

The Club is a forum for discussion about issues regarding internationalization as a key asset for the competitiveness of the Spanish economy, being an opinion maker on issues regarding internationalization.

We maintain permanent contact with the commercial, diplomatic and economic sections of the Spanish Public Administration, as well as with other public or private institutions and mass media. The Club is an influential voice for the Spanish companies that responds to their interests, problems and needs in a flexible, agile and transparent way.

The Club regularly releases reports, studies and technical documents on current issues of international trade, that are later submitted to the pertinent authority and put at our members’ disposal.

The members of the Club operate in every geographical area and many of them have delegations in countries of prime interest for the Spanish economy, both in traditional markets, such as Latin America or Northern Africa, and in the emergent ones of Asia and Eastern Europe.

In this context, it should be emphasized that small and large sized companies coexist in the Club. Since the small sized companies are essential for the creation of a solid exporting base, the role of the large companies, using their high tracking capacity, is to motivate and give support to the small ones.

All Spanish companies, be they small, medium or large, either currently involved in international trade, or wishing to do business or invest abroad, are welcome to join the Spanish Exporters and Investors Club.
