• Meeting with the Latin Chamber of Commerce of the United States (CAMACOL) and the Chamber of Commerce of US-Spain. The meeting was led by Mr. William Alexander, the president of the Chamber of Commerce US-Spain, and representatives of this Chamber. This meeting was an opportunity to strengthen the relationship between the Club and the above mentioned Chambers. The CAMACOL presented the 30th Hemispheric Congress that was going to be held in Miami from 26th to 30th May 2009 (29th January 2009).

• Meeting with Mr. Ender Arat, Turkish ambassador to Spain, who made a presentation on business opportunities in Turkey (19th November 2008).

• Meeting with representatives of the Congress of the United States, organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (13th October 2008).

• Meeting with a delegation of Central Asia. The delegation was formed by a large number of high-level representatives of the public administration of the Ministries of Environment, Agriculture and Foreign Affairs of Central Asia.  The event was organized by the Club, the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and was supported by Deutsche Bank (2nd July 2008).

• Meeting with a delegation of the Foreign Trade Promotion Agency of Bosnia Herzegovina to present the Spanish institutions and organizations of exports and investments promotion (23rd January 2008).

• Meeting with Mr. Bernard Snoy, coordinator of Economic and Environmental Activities of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), who focused his presentation on the Tashkent Conference on Technology Transfer in Water Issues (6th September 2007).

• Business meeting with a delegation of the Government of Albania. Mr. Lulzim Basha, Albanian Foreign Affairs minister, Mrs. Anila Bitri, Albanian ambassador to Spain, and Mr. Manuel Montobbio, Spanish ambassador to Albania, took part in the meeting (20th July 2007).

• Meeting with Mr. Mohamed Mansour Fahmy, deputy minister of Commerce and Industry for International Relations of Egypt. The meeting focused on the incentives and guarantees for foreign investment in Egypt, technology transfer and investment opportunities (7th June 2007).

• Meeting with Mr. Mohamed Haneche, Algerian ambassador to Spain. The members of the Club discussed with the ambassador their business interests in Algeria (18th April 2007).

• Meeting with Mr. León Roldós Aguilera, candidate to the presidential elections in Ecuador (22nd September 2005).

• Participation in the Small Business Administration Exhibition in Washington D.C. 2,000 American small and medium enterprises participated in the exhibition. The Club was invited to participate in several meetings as well as in the exhibition with its own stand (26th-28th April 2005).

• Meeting with the United Nations Agencies. Organized by the Club with the support of the Chambers of Commerce of Madrid and Barcelona, and the Spanish Institute for Foreign Trade (ICEX), these meetings were held in Madrid and Barcelona. The aim of these meetings was to explain the programs and projects of the United Nations Agencies. Mr. Francisco Barrios, commercial counsellor of the Permanent Mission of Spain at the UN, attended the meetings (12th-14th April 2005).

• Meeting with the president of the Republic of Ecuador, Mr. Lucio Gutiérrez. The event was organised by the Embassy of Ecuador to Spain. The Spanish ambassador to Ecuador and authorities of the Secretariat of State for Trade and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs attended the meeting (19th December 2002).

• Conference with the mayor of Quito, Mr. Paco Montayo, who presented the investment projects for the city of Quito (11th October 2002).

• Conference with the vice-president of El Salvador, Mr. Carlos Quintanilla Schmidt. During the meeting a cooperation agreement with El Salvador was signed, which seeks to promote the presence of Spanish companies in El Salvador, as well as the creation of joint-ventures between companies of both countries (8th October 2002).

• II Meeting of European Union Exporters, organized by the French Exporters Club (1st March 2002).

The Spanish delegation was formed by Mr. José Augusto Vega Imbert, Spanish ambassador, and Mr. Emilio de la Fuente Ibarra, Spanish commercial counsellor in the Dominican Republic (27th September 2001).

• Meeting with Mr. Carlos Quintanilla Schmidt, vice-president of the Republic of El Salvador, and Mr. Miguel Ángel Salaverría, ambassador of El Salvador to Spain (21st September 2001).
